The GEF China Climate Technology Needs
Assessment (TNA) Project
Title: Design of Future Technology Transfer Program
People’s Republic of China has received financing from the World Bank toward
the cost of the GEF China Climate Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) Project,
and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
Objective of the assignment
assignment is to be implemented as the counterpart of “Design of future
technology transfer program” of the TNA Project, which will provide a proposal
of designing the future technology transfer platform in China. The assignment
is designed to help to understand the status and business mode of technology
transfer in China nowadays, and propose the feasible design to facilitate the
advanced technology transfer. The design will promote the international
technology development cooperation with the Climate Technology Centre and
Network (CTCN), help learning the technology needs, support the decision-making
of technology transfer mechanism, and accelerate the application of advanced
technologies in China.

2011 edition] (“Consultant
Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a
joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with
the Selection Based on the Consultants’ Qualifications (CQS) method
set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
